Come stay with us! We have been the same family-owned business for 30 years! Summer and fall are beautiful times of the year in Montana with Essex being a more mountainous remote area located at the southern tip of Glacier National Park. Surrounded by trees and mountains, there are many trails on which you can hike or bicycle, or you can enjoy fishing or swimming in the Middle Fork of the Flathead River along with many creeks that are located a short distance from our motel rooms. Wintertime has its own beauty as we average four to six feet of snow each winter! Cross-country skiing is a very popular sport here as well as being able to snowshoe or snowmobile.
Our rooms are spacious and comfortable with two queen beds, a full shower/bath, in-room coffee, microwave, refrigerator, and satellite TV. This spring, in spite of all the snow and cool weather we experienced, our rooms went through a total remodel, offering your family an even more comfortable and inviting stay. With new wooden furniture and accents, our own photographic perspective of Montana in pictures, and the addition of 32" flat-screen TV's, you can enjoy a relaxing getaway in the midst of the beautiful wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. In addition, located within walking distance of our rooms we offer a full-menu restaurant, a convenience store, and the Essex Post Office. You can stay at other places around here for $125 or more per night or stay with us for $89 per night! During the winter season, you can stay in our rooms at a discounted rate of only $65 per night (we charge a little extra for more than two adults or for pets). We are the best deal in the Glacier Park area, so give us a try!

BEST FOOD ON THE MOUNTAIN!
Our Restaurant has a comfortable, family-oriented dining area that seats approximately 40. The view you have from each table is a beautiful, green, grassy park-like area with pine trees. We have a full menu, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that includes simple, but tasty meals. One of our slogans is "Official Slow Food Restaurant" due to our freshly-prepared meals -- it's not fast food!
